Williams' Quarterhorses GLW We are striving to raise horses with good bone & feet. These are "using" horses built strong to last and do the tough jobs. Horses with speed and agility, ability, cow sense and a disposition that the novice horseman can get along with… Our horses are raised in large, steep pastures surrounded by barbed wire. They are not pampered. They learn to stand and travel on uneven rocky and brushy ground. These horse make great trail, pleasure and ranch horses. They are handled, halter broke and gentled from birth. We pick their feet up and teach them to trailer. We work with them with blankets and teach them to come to the grain bucket. Then they are turned into pastures and learn how to be horses.
